To cancel your scheduled appointment we require 24 hours notice. Please cancel through the Patient Portal or call 902 252 3011 and leave a message.

We ask you to show consideration by notifying our office at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment. We would like to have the option to offer that appointment to another patient who needs to see the doctor.

If you fail to give us a 24-hour notice of cancellation, there will be a $60.00 cancellation fee billed to your account that is non-covered by your insurance. You will bear complete financial responsibility for this fee. 

Repeated missed appointments may result in dismissal from our practice.

Lockview Medical Clinic has a duty to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors. Violent or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and decisive action will be taken to protect staff, patients and visitors.

- Doctor(s) will NOT renew prescriptions without seeing the patient.  Please consider your medication requirements at the time of your appointment.
- Doctor(s) will ONLY renew narcotic or benzodiazepines prescriptions for their own patients.
- Doctor(s) will NOT renew narcotic or benzodiazepines prescriptions without the complete patient’s medical chart.
- Doctor(s) will NOT prescribe narcotics or benzodiazepines on the first office visit.
